I would like to express a formal apology to those who have downloaded this game and played it till the end (I'm just gonna spoil what happens in the endings because I am going to change them in the next update).

When James gets out of the house, he encounters a sheriff who shoots him if he can't prove his innocence through the power of Christ or something (i.e. if he didnt go searching for another cross before leaving)... it was a weird thing to put in the game to say the VERY least.

This game came out at a very unfortunate time when considering real-world current events. It's just insensitive to keep the game in this stage any longer. So what I am going to do is update this game and overhaul the endings and make them MUCH better, get rid of this whole Cop nonsense. I've done so already with the bad ending, now I just need to figure out how to handle the "good" ending.

And not only that, I want to improve the oni-chasing mechanics. Having the oni appearing right behind you every time is very frustrating! So I'm gonna work on that too.

So with that, I'm sorry to anyone who was offended by the original endings. I will work to do better. See you later, when the update comes around, whenever that is.
